Description
The Automatic Changeover Single Phase (ATS – Automatic Transfer Switch) is designed for homes, shops, and offices using a single-phase power supply. It automatically transfers electrical load between two power sources, typically:
• Utility power (NEPA/PHCN)
• Generator or inverter backup
When utility power fails, the ATS detects the outage and automatically switches to the backup source. Once utility power is restored and stable, it switches back automatically.
This removes the need to manually operate a changeover switch.
⚡ Key Features:
• Automatic switching between two single-phase sources
• Fast transfer time
• Built-in voltage sensing
• Stabilization delay before switching back
• Prevents backfeeding between power sources
• Heavy-duty internal contacts
• Available in different current ratings (e.g., 32A, 63A, 100A)
🔧 How It Works:
Utility power available → Load runs on utility.
Utility fails → ATS switches automatically to generator/inverter.
Utility returns → ATS waits for stable voltage, then switches back.
All done automatically without manual intervention.
🏠 Ideal Applications:
• Residential homes
• Small offices
• Shops and supermarkets
• Generator-backed properties
• Solar and inverter systems
Benefits:
• No need to manually switch power
• Protects generator from backfeeding
• Reduces downtime during outages
• Safer and more convenient than manual changeover
